“I just wanted to write a few lines and commend you on the excellent weekend you arranged for all us quilters. Nothing to compare it to in Australia and I haven’t been to any expos outside Australia, so no comment there either. I had a fantastic weekend. Not only were the tutors excellent, but the workshop rooms (Corryong) were fabulous – good lighting and plenty of space. I found the Howqua room on Sunday to be a bit small for the number of people in there – not quite enough work space, but I have done classes where I have had a lot less. The meals and morning/afternoon teas were all excellent and we seemed to want for nothing all weekend. The talk by Jennie Rayment at the cocktail party was just fabulous – such a talented lady with a real gift for entertainment as well as teaching.
The only real complaint I had all weekend, and heard from others as well, was they didn’t have enough time to look at the exhibitions and to shop!”
